Insect hotels have been installed on the Siruela Communal Farm as part of measures to promote auxiliary and pollinating fauna in the pastureland.
Four insect hotels were built using branches, reeds and wood from the estate itself. These structures were strategically distributed within the fenced enclosure once the other restoration work had been completed.
The insect hotels provide shelter and breeding grounds for numerous beneficial species, promoting pollination and the ecological balance of the ecosystem, and complement the revegetation and habitat protection measures implemented on the estate.
With this initiative, the Siruela Communal Estate reinforces its commitment to biodiversity conservation and the comprehensive restoration of the pastureland.
